Hall Red Angus, Lamoine and Helen Hall, Bartlett, and Brad and Paula Pokorny, Stapleton NE, held their Annual Production Sale on March 1, at the Burwell Livestock Market in Burwell with many calving ease bulls in the offering. It was a beautiful day for a great crowd to bid on the bulls.
Lot 4, HLH Jordan 8123 0154, a Beckton Jordan son out of a Perks Chateau cow, topped the sale at $9,000, going to Steve VanPelt , a long time customer of Archer NE. He also bought Lot 17, HLH Lance 8238 0026 for $6,250. This was a son of the Buffalo Creek LanceR102 bull out of a Cheyenne daughter.
Lot 1, HLH Cody 6015 0116, a Beckton Cody son out of an Above & Beyond daughter, sold to Dusty Paxton of Tryon NE for $6500.
Bose Farms from Orleans NE , bought the Lot 9 bull, an Epic M115 son out of an Rock N Hobo daughter, for $5,250 and Lot 3 for $4,500, a Buffalo Creek LanceR102 son out of a Beckton Halfmannhustler daugher.
Another Epic M115 son, Lot 26, sold to Walz Farms, LLC of Stapleton NE for $5,250.
